One of the industry's best-selling mini bikes, the 2011 Yamaha PW50 is a fantastic entry-level bike to help young riders learn the ropes at an affordable price.

Introduce your little ones to the fun and excitement of off road riding, with the legendary PW50.

In fact, this lightweight, easy-riding bike is one of the industry's best-selling minis. An air-cooled, 49cc, 2-stroke engine gives you single-speed power that's super reliable and easy to control. Just gas it and go. A removable, power-limiting exhaust restrictor allows parents or adult supervisors to increase power as a rider's skill level improves. When learning is this much fun, they'll really apply themselves! And check out the value pricing too!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Adult supervision and proper protective riding gear, including a helmet, are a must when a youngster is operating a PW50.

Highlights

• 49cc, 2-Stroke Single
• Speed Limiter
• Easy to use

Key Features:

Engine
• Air-cooled, 49cc, reed-valve, 2-stroke single is mildly tuned to deliver predictable power that gently eases the new rider up the off-road learning curve.
• Reed-valve intake system smooths power delivery and widens the powerband.
• Single-speed fully automatic transmission means the rider simply twists the throttle to go. This allows a young rider to concentrate on the basics of riding without having to worry about clutching and shifting.
• Shaft drive system is virtually maintenance-free and comes fully enclosed for added protection and durability. There is no chain to worry about adjusting or lubricating.
• Exclusive Autolube Oil Injection System eliminates the need and hassle of fuel/oil premixing. This system precisely meters the exact amount of oil required by the engine.
• Washable foam air filter reduces tune-up costs.
• Maintenance-free CDI ignition produces a hot spark for sure starts and reduced plug fouling.
• Quiet, environmentally friendly exhaust will keep the neighbours smiling.
• Exhaust pipe has been routed away from rider to avoid accidental contact burns. Heat shields also protect young riders from hot components.

Chassis
• Rugged steel backbone-type frame
• Class-lowest 485mm (19.1") seat height creates a handling-enhancing low centre of gravity and allows most riders to put both feet on the ground for added confidence.
• 22.5mm telescopic front fork with 60mm (2.4") of travel smooths out the bumps.
• Dual rear shock suspension with 50mm (2") of wheel travel deliver a plush, confidence-inspiring ride.
• Front and rear drum brakes provide strong stopping power. Hand-operated levers are similar to those used on bicycles.
• Durable, mag-style wheels means there's no need to tighten or replace spokes. They are easy to clean too!
• Knobby tires provide excellent traction in the dirt.
• Specially designed one-piece rear fender, side panels and seat can be easily removed for cleaning or maintenance.

Features
• Rugged plastic bodywork resists damage in the event of a tip over.
• Plush, motocross-style seat provides ample comfort and allows maximum rider movement.
• Team Yamaha-inspired colours, graphics, front and side number plates create styling just like the bigger YZ series of off-roaders.
• Large, folding footpegs with rubber grips provide excellent footing even in wet or muddy conditions.
• Premium-quality handgrips and levers are durable and comfortable.

Safety Items
• Heat shields on engine and exhaust protect young riders from hot components.
• Adjustable speed limiter screw on throttle housing restricts acceleration and top speed.
• Removable exhaust pipe restrictor allows parents to increase top speed as skills improve.
• Start/Run switch prevents unit from moving while in the start position.
• Easy-access handlebar/dash-mounted choke lever.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Adult supervision and proper protective riding gear, including a helmet, are a must when a youngster is operating a PW50.

Need a Florida Motorcycle Accident Lawyer and looking for an ethical, experienced and aggressive lawyer to figure out if you may be entitled to money compensation for your serious injury?

In Florida, motorcycle accidents happen mostly because automobile drivers do not share the road. I frequently represent seriously injured motorcycle riders because a car fails to see the motorcycle and then the car pulls out into the intersection. Another common reason is that the car driver changes lanes without looking. The most frequent injuries are fractures of shoulder or wrists from going over the handlebars, or femur (long bone of the leg) fractures from laying the bike down or a side impact. Unfortunately, even at slower speeds and with a helmet, I have represented the family of fathers and sons who have died in motorcycle crashes.

As a Florida Motorcycle accident lawyer, I understand that you may want to express you individuality and freedom on the road by making the decision as an adult not to wear a helmet. The insurance company in a brain injury case will argue that you are the cause of your own injury being worse because if you were wearing a helmet the injury would not have been so bad.

I retain experts in biomechanics, who are engineers and if the evidence is available and in your favor, they can calculate the force of the impact and tell the insurance company that they are wrong. That wearing a helmet would not have made a difference. A helmet sometimes can actually make the injury worse. I am not advocating that you should not wear a helmet , it's just that wearing one does not always make a difference. It depends on the accident circumstances. Each Florida Motorcycle Accident claim will get my personal attention to detail and my 30 years of experience.

If you would like to consult for free with a Florida civil trial lawyer who is board certified as an expert in civil trial then please call 888-446-1999

There will be no charge for lawyer fees of representation or costs of representation if there is not money compensation recovery.

Taking full advantage of the greater chassis design freedom afforded by an in-wheel motor, this is Yamaha’s proposal of a completely new type of two-wheel-drive (2WD) EV (electric vehicle) with “Stretch” functions in the vertical and horizontal directions for the aluminum frame body that brings a very Yamaha joy of riding. In addition to the great drivability of the 2WD, it is possible to adjust not only the riding position but also the silhouette of the chassis to fit the rider’s body size, riding environment, road surface conditions and personal preference, as well as output characteristics. This is Yamaha’s proposal of a bike of the future that offers the kind of personal fit only possible with an electric vehicle.

Spcifications

Yamaha Gen-Ryu Hybrid Motorcycle Concept
This model is a proposal for a "High-performance Hybrid Motorcycle." Based on Yamaha's "Genesis" design ideal and the new "G.E.N.I.C.H." ideal reflecting the latest electronic control technologies, this model combines the lightweight, compact YZF-R6 600cc engine and a high output, high efficiency electric motor. It is designed to offer both the joy of handling of a motorcycle and the comfort and carrying capacity of a scooter. Features like the lightweight aluminum CF die-cast body with optimized rigidity balance, large diameter wheels and long wheelbase give this model running performance and handling similar to a 1,000cc class machine.

Furthermore, this model adopts a Yamaha H.M.I. (Human Machine Interface) system. This is a communications system that links ASV (Advanced Safety Vehicle) functions and smart functions to supply the rider with a variety of visual and audio information about the riding environment in the form of a system control program that lets the rider concentrate more completely on the act of riding.
The ASV functions include
(1) a vehicle-vehicle distance warning system using the latest communications technologies and (2) a cornering light system that improves nighttime vision when turning at intersections and curves.
The smart functions developed jointly with Yamaha Corp. include
(1) a noise canceling system that greatly reduces wind noise,
(2) a short-wave tandem intercom system,
(3) voice navigation function,
(4) music player and hand-free cell phone function and
(5) rear view monitoring system using a CCD camera and LCD display.
